Our Personal Boot Camp was great - intense, meaningful, & productive! Communication was 100% prior to the Boot Camp, our emailed questions were answered very quickly and thoroughly and during Boot Camp everything was perfect. We didn't have any concerns or questions. Post Boot Camp communication has continued to be wonderful!J. was truly a perfect match for S. She quickly bonded with her, truly listened to what she wanted to share in her essays, and guided her towards writing wonderful submissions! I know S. would love to stay in touch with her forever - she truly is an exceptional mentor. Our son will be yours too! –S.M., parent of Personal Boot Camp student
"Thank you so much for your help and guidance. I wouldn't have been able to do it without you and the Top Tier Admissions Team! I'm still in between UPenn and Georgetown, but I will make sure to visit both." –S.I., Application Boot Camp student
"I liked the process of having multiple people read my essays before finalizing a draft. This made me confident that my essays were clear and concise while also captivating to a diverse audience. Everyone was also patient and encouraging. Boot Camp took away so much stress coming into Senior Fall, allowing me to focus on my academics and earning my highest term average ever." –S.A., Application Boot Camp student
"G is excited to go to her first choice, the University of Miami! She continues to say that Application Boot Camp was the best investment we ever made for her education." –R.J., Application Boot Camp parent
"M., I have GREAT news!!!! After a ton of nerves and anticipation, I found out last night that I've been admitted to Harvard University! I couldn't be happier to be in (and to not have to write a bunch of essays this weekend too)! With all this being said, I want to thank you for all of the incredible advice, support, and help you provided me over the course of the last 15 months. Your guidance made my college process infinitely less stressful and gave me a clear vision of the steps I wanted and needed to take in order to get an outcome of which I was proud. Thank you again!”–M.K., Private Counseling student
Harvard Class of 2023
"I wanted to send you a note to thank you for all the help you have given to P on her college essays. You have helped her so much within such a short period of time. I wish we had found you earlier. We wasted so much time and effort since the summer. I have a 9th grader and I know who to turn to for help now. Thank you, J! I will be in touch." –L.K., Essay Guidance Program parent
Thank you so much for putting in the extra time for my essays. It really says a lot! I appreciate your recommendations and managed to submit to several PhD programs using the essay you edited as a template. I'll be sure to keep you informed on their responses! (fingers crossed!) Thank you so much again!” –R.E., Grad School Essay Guidance student
I really appreciate all of your hard work, suggestions and help for P. This has been immensely helpful and do not think we could have done this without you.  Really appreciate all the creative ideas and added activities that really help make P’s application stand out a little more.  We will definitely keep you in the loop and have already given you as a referral to several families. You have been awesome. Thank you! –B.B., parent of Personal Boot Camp student
I just wanted to tell you: I GOT INTO YALE!!!!! I have been on cloud 9, and I’m still so shocked and excited! But I wanted to thank you both so much for everything; I couldn’t have done it without your guidance and support. –M.J., Private Counseling student
Yale Class of 2023
"E., I just wanted to let you know that I got into Barnard Early Decision! Thank you for everything you have done!!! I can’t tell you how much I appreciate everything you did for me! Thank You!!" - H.L., Personal Boot Camp student
Barnard, Class of 2023
"I wanted to let you know that my journey through the college application process has officially come to an end. I was accepted to Duke in the ED round! I can't thank you enough for all your guidance and support in the process. It has truly been a privilege working with you. The feedback you gave me was so generous and helped me to elevate my essays beyond what I thought was possible. Ironically, in the end, all I needed was my personal statement and my 150-word 'why' for Duke, but I'm so glad I was prepared for the regular decision round. Thank you again for everything!" – S.Y., Essay Guidance Program student
On behalf of T, I'm letting you know that she has been accepted to Princeton. We cannot thank you enough for all your help! – P.N, Personal Boot Camp parent
Dear K, R felt very positive about his session with you. I haven’t seen him this upbeat about his prospects for the math section in a long time (if ever!).  We’d like to have you continue with him weekly if possible, until the March SAT, and we can re-evaluate as necessary after that. Thank you! –G.F., SAT tutoring parent
"I wanted to say thank you again for all your help! I got into UPenn, Cornell, Barnard, Wellesley, Wesleyan, Tufts, University of Michigan, and Wake Forest, and am waiting to hear from Georgetown; I think I'm leaning towards UPenn. Thank  you so much for all your guidance; I don't think I could have done it without your help!" --I.R., Application Boot Camp student
"E., thanks so much for your support. I recently looked into my Princeton folder on my laptop and found 27 files--multiple versions of essays, abstracts, graded writing papers and supporting documents. Each has been revised by you three to six times. I couldn't be more thankful for the time and effort you have put into helping me complete this application. I would not have dreamed of being accepted without your support!" –H.N., Personal Boot Camp student
Princeton Class of 2023
"P has heard from two schools, Sewanee and Davidson. She got into both!  We expected a Sewanee acceptance after her visit, but it is a comfort to know she got in.  Davidson was a total unknown. But she got in, to a school with a 15% or so transfer acceptance rate. That is just awesome. I don't know if she ends up there, but it is really a great shot of confidence and happiness after a rather dismal twelve months. Thank you for your advice, thoughts and words through all of this.I tend to think this validates the essays. At least one very selective school liked what she wrote and liked her total package. That pleases me but also makes me hopeful for news to come. At any rate, I thought you would like to know, and to express my thanks for all of your time, thoughts and energy." –M.K., parent, Transfer Essay Guidance Program
"Clearly, Application Bootcamp and Top Tier took a lot of anxiety out of the whole situation. Our children know a number of kids who did not get into their top choice ED school, only to be devastated and stressed as they are without a plan for ED II and regular decision and have not worked on a range of essays for other schools. So while F & J’s EA-only strategy is not for everyone but made sense for them since they did not have a clear lead school when they were applying, being prepared made all the difference. The help Bootcamp provided in honing their voice and words into essays that reflect their intent was fantastic. In the end, it is all about having choices they are happy with, and I am happy to say they both have those now!"–F.A., parent of Application Boot Camp students
We are ecstatic that P was accepted to MIT through early admissions. We would like to express our deep gratitude to you, Yvonne, and others at Top Tier for guiding, supervising, and counseling P through the college admissions process! –L.A., Private Counseling parents
MIT Class of 2023
"Thank you for all of your help and support over the last four years. C is IN at UPENN/Wharton! Very excited for C and a big sigh of relief for all of us. Glad that C can enjoy her winter break!" –O.D., Private Counseling parent
K., you have probably heard by now from P that he got accepted into Penn. We write to express our gratitude and heartfelt thanks for your patient and strategic guidance all along the application process. You have kept us on course and been consistently honest with us. Your wise counsel at many critical junctures in the last two years since our enrollment in the private counseling program has, even given his legacy status, we firmly believe, made a material difference. P couldn’t have done it without you so a big THANK YOU from all of us! –C.P., parent of Private Counseling student
