Class of 2021 Early Decision Notification Dates

*Updated Daily*

An open letter to the Class of 2021

Dear Class of 2021,

With early decision deadlines close to behind you and your regular apps ready to go (we hope) for the January 1 deadline, we invite you to CHILL for just a little bit. You’ve earned it. Always keep your grades up, of course, and no disciplinary issues but take a few minutes to exhale and relax.

With early results beginning to roll in during December, we realize this can be a stressful time of year for you if you let it be. Instead of making yourself insane with anxiety, attempt to embrace the crazy and enjoy the ride! After all, you will (thankfully) only experience undergrad admissions once so why not make the best of it? You’ve put the hard work in, now enjoy.

Hi Susana,
Thanks for the comment! Bowdoin’s information is as follows:
EDI: 11/15/16 deadline, mid-December notification date
EDII: 1/1/17 deadline, mid February notification date
Thanks again!

Thank you. Can you please add it to the list? It makes no sense to omit Bowdoing when Williams, Swarthmore, and Amerst are included. They are all equivalent schools. Thank you.

I read on a CAAAN PDF admission cycle states that Cornell’s EDs are being sent out December 8th. That is only from one source, but seems to fit the second week of December on a Thursday trend.

Hi Ruben! These are all included on our list now and we’ll update as the information flows in.

Thanks,
TTA

Hi Sam,

Catholic is there (look under ‘The’) and I’ve added/updated both U Miami & SJU.

Best,
TTA

Are these “top tier” schools, or all schools? Because Catholic, U MIami, SJU and the liike are not really considered “top tier,” so perhaps the don’t belong. Just a thought — they make your list super long, and are not helpful to people eligible for highly selective schools.

Hi Susan,
Thanks so much for your comment. We try to report as many schools as we can, not only top tier schools as our audience is broad. The majority listed are considered “top tier”.

Many thanks,
TTA

duke is wed, dec 14 at 7pm est for sure, barnard is dec 13th, tuesday in the “afternoon” for sure and princeton is dec 18th

If I may ask, how confident are you about the validity of your source for Princeton? It seems a bit strange that they would release on a Sunday.

Hello All,

We’ll change Princeton back to mid-December until we have final and firm confirmation. Keep us posted!

Our best,
TTA

Where did you hear about Princeton? Nobody else has heard from them yet. (plus that is a Sunday, which seems unlikely)

TTA- Have you verified the Princeton date provided by Cass? Nothing has been released from Princeton via social media, their website, or email.

Hey,

Princeton has not yet released a date. It will be in December though. Specific speculation is Dec 15th. Also UChicago is Dec 16th.

Upenn dec 9 @ 3:00 (not Dec19)
Williams Dec 9 (not Dec 15)
Princeton has not release the date yet!!!

Thanks & good luck to eveyone
